Our Engraving Methods
Three professional surface engraving techniques — engineered for durability, precision, and visual impact without compromising the steel.
Surface Metal Etching
Electronically controlled surface etching onto metal — blades, bolsters, and metal handles. Creates a rich, enduring imprint without deep cutting that would weaken the steel. Semi-permanent.
Laser Engraving
Precision laser imprint available on smooth leather sheaths and smooth bone, synthetic, and wood handle materials.
Personalization & Serialization
Engraving of letters and/or numbers onto the bolster or the main blade. Perfect for names, initials, dates, and serial numbers.
Blade House does not offer deep metal engraving. Deep cutting into the blade surface compromises the structural integrity of the steel. All of our engraving methods — laser, electro-etch, color fill, and tech print — are surface-level only, preserving the strength and performance of your knife.
